Indian fairness benchmarks closed increased on October 6 (Friday). The 30-share benchmark BSE Sensex pack surged 364 factors or 0.55 per cent to shut at 65,996, whereas the broader NSE Nifty index moved 108 factors or 0.55 per cent to settle at 19,654. Shares reminiscent of Status Estates, Godrej Properties, Paytm, L&T Finance Holdings and IndiGo had been among the many prime gainers on Nifty 200.
