Telangana Exit Poll 2023: Will BRS return to power for third consecutive term?

Telangana Exit Ballot 2023: Most exit polls have predicted an edge to the Congress in Telangana, which has been dominated by Ok Chandrashekhar Rao-led Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) for the final 10 years.

There are 106 constituencies within the state. It has 3.26 crore eligible voters, together with 1,63,13,268 male voters and 1,63,02,261 feminine electors.

As many as 2,290 contestants had been within the fray for the upcoming elections, together with Chief Minister Ok Chandrasekhar Rao, his minister-son Ok T Rama Rao, state Congress president A Revanth Reddy and BJP Lok Sabha members Bandi Sanjay Kumar and D Arvind. 
This time, BRS has fielded candidates in all 119 seats. 

As per the seat-sharing settlement, BJP and actor Pawan Kalyan-headed Jana Sena are contesting in 111 and eight seats respectively. 

The Congress has given one seat to its ally CPI and has fielded candidates on 118 others. 

Asaduddin Owaisi-led AIMIM has put up candidates in 9 segments within the metropolis.

For Telangana, whereas India TV-CNX forecast 63-79 seats for the Congress, 31-47 for the BRS, 2-4 for the BJP and 5-7 for the AIMIM, Jan Ki Baat forecast that the Congress would get 48-64 seats, the BRS would get 40-55, BJP 7-13 and AIMIM 4-7.

Republic TV-Matrize predicted that in Telangana, the Congress would get 58-68 seats, BRS 46-56, BJP 4-9 and AIMIM 5-9. TV9 Bharatvarsh Polstrat acknowledged that the Congress would get 49-59 seats and the BRS would get 48-58.

The counting of votes can be taken up on December 3.
