CIL, Bajaj Auto top gainers on Nifty50 as index hits record high; HDFC Bank, RIL most active on Feb 22

Benchmark indices on Thursday resumed their upward run after a single-day halt, led by positive factors in IT and vehicle shares. Headline index NSE Nifty ultimately closed at 22,217.45-level after touching an all-time excessive of twenty-two,252.50. High gainers on the Nifty50 platform had been Coal India Ltd (CIL), Bajaj Auto, Eicher Motors, ITC and HCLTech whereas losers included Indusind Financial institution, HDFC Financial institution, BPCL, Kotak Mahindra Financial institution and HUL.
