Dana Carvey Shows Gratitude to Supporters After Son’s ‘Accidental OD’

Dana Carvey is displaying his gratitude to everybody who’s been reaching out to assist his household after his son Dex‘s deadly OD.

The actor and comic thanked his well-wishers Saturday on Instagram, saying he and his spouse, Paula, have been overwhelmed by their love, compassion and private tales they shared.

Dana wrote, “We obtained so many lovely messages from individuals who knew Dex. These touched us greater than we may ever categorical in phrases.”

He went on to say he can be taking a break from work and social media throughout the grieving course of as he, Paula and their different son, Thomas, determine “what life appears to be like like now that we’re a household of three.”

Dana vowed to “heal the perfect we will and keep it up” as a result of their “darling Dex would have wished it that approach.”

TMZ broke the story … Dex passed away Wednesday after his girlfriend known as 911, and first responders discovered him unresponsive within the rest room of an L.A. residence. Paramedics tried unsuccessfully to deliver him again to life.

On Thursday, Dana mentioned Dex died of an unintended drug overdose. He additionally wrote an emotional tribute to his son, praising his musical skills and calling him a “lovely particular person.”
