‘Sandlot’ Star Marty York’s Mother Murdered, Cops Searching for Killer

Tragedy has struck the household of “The Sandlot” actor Marty York, his mom, a sheriff’s deputy, was murdered in her own residence … and cops are on the hunt for the alleged killer.

Cops say Deanna Esmaeel was discovered lifeless Thursday inside her house in Crescent Metropolis, California. On Friday, the Del Norte County Sheriff’s Workplace — the place Deanna is a deputy — put out an alert to the general public in hopes of monitoring down Deanna’s boyfriend, Daniel James Walter.

Investigators say Walter, who not too long ago modified his title to Edward Patrick Davies, is the suspect in Deanna’s homicide … although they do not say what occurred.

In keeping with the alert, deputies have been in a position to find Walter’s automobile, however the 54-year-old was nowhere to be discovered.

Sheriff Scott of the DNSO launched an announcement following Deputy Esmaeel’s loss of life, saying, “We’re all deeply heartbroken with the lack of Deputy Esmaeel. Our hearts and prayers exit to her household, buddies, and colleagues.”
